Having previously owned and operated several successful café and espresso bars in Belconnen and Civic the founder of Brew & Brew sought to build on this success by providing a new offering within the Barton area by establishing Brew & Brew Café and Bar.  After exploring a number of locations, an existing café space within One Canberra Avenue (Minter Elison Building) was selected as the preferred option.  AMC was engaged to provide interior design services for the refurbishment and fitout, working closely with the owner and his graphic designers, “Cre8tive” to design a modern café and bar experience.

AMC’s industrial inspired concept for the café incorporates clean lines, raw elements of plywood, concrete and steel with feature exposed light fittings.  Punches of colour are provided by loose furniture selections with plant wall elements used to help define seating areas within the café and covered terrace.  The café and bar has proved a hit with office workers and locals in the Parliamentary Triangle area, offering a unique destination to sample Canberra’s best wines, beers and coffee blends.
