About the Project

Client:   Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia
Size:     600m²
Date:     2011

AMC was approached by Nikias Diamond Property Developments (NDPD) in February 2011 to prepare a concept design for a new multi-purpose hall for the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia, on their current embassy site. The design of the building makes reference to the traditional Saudi architecture, through the use of masonry with small ‘punched windows’ and lattice for privacy and shading. During the design process both AMC and NDPD travelled to Saudi Arabia to meet with representatives of the Saudi Government in Riyadh, and discuss the design of the hall. Currently the project is awaiting funding approval from the Saudi Government.
