AMC began their involvement with Holy Family in Gowrie in 2007 when they were first commissioned to refurbish the school. The first project included the extension of the existing central Administration facilities, which were too small and which lacked an appropriate reception point for visitors, the creation a new central staff room, improving the cooling throughout most of the classrooms and various other minor works. On the back of this successful project, AMC were again engaged in 2009 under the BER program to design a new free-standing Learning Centre, comprising three General Purpose Learning Areas (GPLA) and an IT area which in turn allowed the replacement of a number of sub-standard demountable buildings that had been used as classroom for some time, to be removed from the site. In addition, the original library, which was compromised by poor initial planning, was able to be fully refurbished into a new Learning Centre including the provision of a new mezzanine level.
