2022 AIA ACT Chapter Awards – Commendation

AMC is delighted that The Bradfield, Downer was recognised with a Commendation in the “Residential Architecture – Multiple Housing” category in the 2022 ACT Architecture Awards!

The jury panel recognised the contribution of this high-quality residential development to the revitalisation of the Downer local centre, achieved via a sensitive approach to the preservation of social, cultural and environmental heritage values informed by a rigorous and sustained community engagement process. Offering a mix of townhouses and apartments arranged around a central “village green” and with an architectural expression that speaks to the character of Downer, this development sees the fruition of CHC Australia’s vision for a socially sustainable residential development that is now intrinsically linked with the local community.
