Located adjacent to the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in Bruce, GIO Stadium has undergone a number of redevelopments since its construction in 1977.  The Stadium is now primarily used for rugby league and rugby union and is the home of the Canberra Raiders and Brumbies.  The new entry and ticketing facilities are located at the West and East entries, sitting comfortably in front of an imposing stadium structure with the large fascia-mounted GIO signage acting as a beacon to patrons as they approach the Stadium.  The new buildings improve access to, and egress from the Stadium, providing a clear, secure and legible entry arrangement and improving the overall functionality of the ticketing process and visitor experience.
