AMC has provided high quality architectural and interior design services to Housing ACT and the ACT Government since 2009, successfully delivering a broad range of housing and community projects throughout the ACT.  This experience and thorough understanding of brief requirements for social housing developments placed AMC in an excellent position to assist the Public Housing Renewal Taskforce (PHRT) in achieving its objectives for this large scale redevelopment in Monash.

The development incorporates 17 townhouses and 13 apartments designed to offer tenants energy efficient homes that are close to public transport, shops and local amenities.  A consistent architectural language featuring asymmetrical roof pitches, face brickwork and lighter concrete and steel elements creates a sense of cohesion across the development.  Public open green spaces are linked via a considered pedestrian network that is integrated into the landscape concept which soften and add further interest to the development.  Officially opened in March 2019, this project marked the 1000th public housing dwelling to be handed over to Housing ACT by the Public Housing Renewal Taskforce program, a significant step towards its target of delivering 1,288 dwellings by June 2019
